This week on tips - Life lessons through visual art and Severance (the best stuff on AppleTV+)
Hello dear reader,
Welcome to week XX+1; I'm continuing my journey of sharing fascinating finds from the vast world of the internet. I appreciate your support and eagerness to learn something new every week.
Besides the regular tips of the week, I want to share a piece of poetry with you. One of the lesser-known poems of Emily Dickinson:
Did life’s penurious length
Italicize its sweetness,
The men that daily live
Would stand so deep in joy
That it would clog the cogs
Of that revolving reason
Whose esoteric belt
Protects our sanity.
She refers to the wholesomeness of life and how being aware there’s an end makes us live the time that we have purposefully, or at least try. I share this because I’ve been thinking about the meaning of having an endpoint and how it does affect our perception of joy and purpose, leading us to live more authentically; this is my point of view.
So that’s that. Here’s to this week’s tips:

And out of all of them, this is my favorite one, or better said, the one that hit me the most:
I hope that at least one message sticks in your brain and you put it into practice. This is a long shot, but let me know what the one that you related with the most was.
One of the best shows I’ve watched in years
If you want something to binge-watch over the next few weeks, I must 100% recommend Severance, hosted by AppleTV+. This captivating show has become one of the finest in recent years. I'm confident you'll be just as captivated by its intriguing storyline and stellar performances.
What is it about?
It delves into the concept of work-life balance taken to the extreme, with employees undergoing a surgical procedure to separate their work and personal memories. The show follows Mark, played by Adam Scott, as he navigates the mysterious and often unsettling world of his company, Lumon Industries, and begins questioning the ethical implications of this divisive procedure.
That's all for this edition!
